If you’re flying long haul with your baby under one, and are unsure whether stopovers are worth it or not, here’s our opinion: yes, yes, yes.
Bassinets. Bulkhead. All airlines are not created equal when it comes to flying with an infant. On a long-haul flight, the more family-friendly the better.
The main question with car travel is whose car? Our view is, if possible, take your own car. We know, this is not always practical, but there are benefits.
Before children you likely had an aisle v window preference that made your flight that little bit more comfortable. Sorry, the days of personal preference are gone. (A wriggler? You probably want the aisle.)
